Happy Monday!
First things first—I don’t know about you, but life has been pretty stressful lately. I saw this on Pinterest and thought it was right on. It has been a crazy few weeks and yoga always helps relieve stress for me.
Hope you had a wonderful weekend! My son was sick most of the weekend and is still really sick so it has been a crazy few days. Flu season is really hitting hard this season! Stay healthy everyone!
Today’s Case of the Mondays post has a few Super Bowl snack ideas for your get together or party along with some of my other favorite finds around the web. Click on the link to go to the original source and the beautiful photos belong to those websites and food bloggers.
Fight the Flu: Mediterranean Chicken Soup Chicken soup for the soul! A bowl or two of this will help your immune system and hopefully keep you healthy!
Dip Worthy: Orange and Avocado Dip The combination of orange, avocado and jicama sounds wonderful and a perfect addition to a Super Bowl party.
Finger Foods: Easy Meatballs Going along with the Super Bowl theme these meatballs would be another great addition to your spread.
Comforting: French Onion Soup Mac & Cheese With the cold setting in for the next two months comfort food is in full effect—the marriage of these two delicious foods is genius.
To Sip On: Winter Sangria with Citrus Pomegranate Wonderful sangria mixing delicious, in season winter fruits. I could sip on one of these all day long.
Escape: Cinque Terre, Italy What is there not to love about all of those beautiful, colorful villas up on the side of a mountain overlooking the Mediterranean. Heaven.
Mediterranean Eats: 5 Layer Greek Dip I love hummus and especially love pairing hummus up with Greek flavors like olives and cucumbers. Delicious!
For the Health of It: Kale Ceasar For all of the kale lovers out there!
Sweet Tooth: Cookie Dough Cheesecake Bars I am a sucker for cookie dough but mix that with cheesecake…OH MAN, I am in trouble!
Cheater: Substitution Cheat Sheet I love this little cheat sheet for substituting yogurt for things like butter or oil. Yogurt is such an amazing food that can be used in so many ways and is a healthy option!
Have a great rest of your Monday and stay warm & healthy!
