Case of the Mondays?

Another weekend came and went and it is December! Saying that out load is scary. How is is December already? The holidays are upon us!

The crazy thing about it being December is that it really doesn’t feel like it in Chicago! Yesterday was 65 degrees and today might be even warmer. That’s just strange but I can’t complain and have to just enjoy the last few mild days before the snow.

I hope some of my favorites from around the web help start your Monday off right! :)

Inspiration: Some Things Fall Apart So Better Things Can Fall Together Right on!

Sweet Tooth: No-Bake Peppermint Bark Cheesecake Shooter These looks delicious! Peppermint bark is good enough but then adding in cheesecake to the mix–Yum!

Foodie: Roasted Poblano Mac & Cheese It’s that time of year for comfort food—there’s nothing better than a good mac & cheese. Roasted poblanos sounds like a good twist!

To Sip On: Blackberry Hot Toddy Wow-not only does this “look beautiful” I bet it tastes beautiful too!

Warm me Up: Chipotle Apple Turkey Chili  This sounds so warm and delicious. I love adding apples to this turkey chili and if you check out Kita’s blog you will even get a recipe for honey cornbread to go with the chili!

Cuteness Can it get any cuter? I just picture my son in his Little Tikes car with the tree on top & I laugh…so cute!

DIY Project: Christmas Ornament Seems simple enough for this holiday season!

Christmas idea: Preservation Ornament  Love this idea of preserving your child’s holiday list every year in an ornament (you could even preserve something else–a piece of small artwork maybe?)

Escape: Alaska I keep catching shows on Discovery about Alaska and it is slowly but surely moving up my list of places I have to see SOON! Breathtaking, remote, peaceful..did I say breathtaking?

Memories: Dr. Seuss Do you remember reading Dr. Seuss as a child? I do..and now I am reading it to my son. These quotes made me smile.

Get Moving: Yoga Print this out and keep it nearby to get in a few yoga moves throughout the day.

Kitchen Organizing: Chalkboard Paint Love this idea of using chalkboard paint to label storage jars for the kitchen.

Gift Idea: Mini Tasting Chalk Sampler Set Still on that chalk bandwagon–this would be a great gift for someone that likes to entertain and it’s only $9.99 at World Market!

Jewels: Sparkle Baguette  Perfect for the holidays!

Cozy: Leg Warmers Under boots these would be so warm & cozy and look really cute too!
