New Feature: ZipList Recipe Box and Shopping Lists

Do you surf your favorite websites and blogs and wish you had a better way to save and store the recipes you hope to make in the future? I know that I often see recipes I want to save and print them out, file them away and never make them.

I am excited to announce that A Cedar Spoon is partnering with ZipList so that you are able to do just that! Save your favorite recipes from A Cedar Spoon as well as other great websites like All Recipes, Food Network and so many more! ZipList helps you not only save recipes, but create shopping lists and meal plans. Talk about getting organized in 2014!

Here is how it works:

To get started click on the “Recipe Box” along the top navigation menu on A Cedar Spoon and it will take you to your own personalized recipe box. You can either sign up there or login into an existing account. This box will house all the recipes that you save from my site or other sites!

To save a recipe on  A Cedar Spoon, for example Shaved Brussels Sprout Salad with Apple and Pomegranate , you go to the recipe towards the bottom of the post and just below the picture on the right side is a print and save button.  By pushing on the save button it allows you to save the recipe.  From there, a box will pop up which will ask you to either “Add to Recipe Box” or “Add to Shopping List”, select which option you would like.

There is also a great ZipList Grocery List and Recipes App for your I-phone that allows you to view your grocery list on your phone as you shop in the store. I love it and I hope you do too!

Let me know if you have questions or need help navigating this new and exciting feature on A Cedar Spoon.
