Mango Banana Oatmeal Breakfast Smoothie
Do you watch Biggest Loser? For those that don’t, the finale was on last night. That show gets me every time. The amazing stories of hardship and weight loss amaze me.
Every time I watch that show it motivates me to eat healthier and try and get myself to the gym as much as possible or do a quick yoga session in the basement while my toddler takes a nap. The small choices we make in our lives add up and can have a lasting impact on our health.
Speaking of eating healthy, today’s Mango Banana Oatmeal Breakfast Smoothie recipe is an easy breakfast option!
You can assemble the ingredients the night before, put it in the fridge, then wake up and blend. Wallah! It mixes a little bit of oatmeal to lower cholesterol and boost your immune system, peanut butter to provide your body with protein, coconut milk which is loaded with Vitamin C, E and B vitamins not to mention antioxidants and of course fruit.
Yes, it is that easy to eat breakfast, no excuses. If you are like me, then getting out of the house in the morning can be a challenge. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day to get your body going and help set your day on the right path.
My son loves smoothies and I happily share mine with him. It is a sneaky way to get your little one to eat drink lots of healthy stuff. For example, make a smoothie using fruit, a little Greek yogurt, honey and spinach. A lot of tots don’t like to eat spinach, but if you put it in a sweet fruity smoothie, they won’t even know. 😉

I like to make smoothies for the kids since it's easier to get more fruits in that way. Never thought to put oats in them though! Nice idea! They love mangos and bananas so this will be a good one to make.
