Candied Cinnamon and Sugar Nut Mix makes a great edible gift to give this holiday season!
Each year for the holidays I like to try out new recipes for edible gifts that I can give to my coworkers, friends, family and babysitters. I like to do this because I feel like it is a little more personal—you spend time in the kitchen putting some tender loving care into a gift. The holidays is all about giving and thinking of others and this is a great way to do just that.
This year my edible gift giving included the Gluten Free Nutella Chocolate Chip Cookies Cups I posted yesterday, Sweet and Spicy Nut Mix, Chocolate Coconut Dipped Pretzel Rods and these Candied Cinnamon and Sugar Nut Mix. This nut mix is perfect to put into small mason jars and tie with a cute little ribbon. I especially love giving this to coworkers because they can keep it on their desk and snack on it all day long..it helps them get through the day! 😉
To make this Candied Cinnamon and Sugar Nut Mix I followed Sally’s recipe but changed up the nuts that I used to include pecans, almonds and cashews. The great thing about making nut mixes is you can tailor them to your preferences—use all of the same nut, maybe almonds, or a variety of nuts like I did.
Who doesn’t love a sweet cinnamon and sugar nut mixture to snack on?
