Smoothie + iced coffee collide into a Coconut Banana Iced Coffee Smoothie.  The perfect morning drink or late afternoon pick-me-up of coconut milk, bananas and iced coffee.

Coconut Banana Iced Coffee Smoothie

In the summer I am iced coffee kind of girl.  Whether I am at the coffee shop working, running around with the kids or hanging out at home, if it is warm out, I am choosing the iced coffee.  Iced coffee is great in the morning on your way to work or in the afternoon when you need that extra pick me up at your desk.

I recently had the opportunity to try new Folgers® Iced CaféTM  Coffee Drink Concentrates , a line of concentrated coffee, sweetener and flavor enhancers all conveniently combined in a portable package.  The coffee drink concentrates come in a little 1.62 fl. oz. squeeze bottle and are available in four varieties: Original Latte, Vanilla Latte, Caramel Macchiato and Hazelnut Latte.  All you do is add two squeezes of Folgers Iced Café to cold milk, stir, add ice and enjoy.

 Folgers Iced Coffee Concentrates

They are made with 100% coffee extract, just five ingredients and no sugar or preservatives. If you are an iced coffee person these are a great option when you are on-the-go and don’t want to make a batch of iced coffee yourself.  These can be enjoyed at home, work or when you are on the go.  I like to make a mason jar in the morning and head outside to relax in the backyard or check out the progress of my garden.

Now here is a thought! Take that iced coffee and make it into a smoothie. Music to this smoothie lovers ears. Today I am sharing a Coconut Banana Iced Coffee Smoothie using the Folgers Iced Café Original Coffee Drink Concentrate, for the smoothie lovers out there that also love their morning coffee. Isn’t it great when two things you enjoy come together in one tasty drink?

For this smoothie you combine your favorite milk {I used coconut milk}, a frozen banana, 5 squeezes of your Folgers Iced Café Original Coffee Drink Concentrate and blend it up. It is that easy, and has dual purpose. A little boost of energy +  a refreshing beverage.

Don’t get me wrong, I like my plain iced coffee as much as the next person, but mixing it up sometimes is fun too.

This looks and sounds so delicious, you just might be the person that gets me to drink coffee! My husband has been trying to get me to drink it for 15 years ;)

Ohhh...coffee is my thing! But I know that some people really do not like the taste. Maybe this smoothie is a slow transition? You definitely get the coffee taste but you could add less of the concentrate to make it more subtle!
