Dark Chocolate Orange Sea Salt Fondue makes a fun snack for the family, a dessert to end a special meal or a nice addition to a party. Dark chocolate, orange zest and a sprinkle of sea salt creates a decadent chocolate sauce. You can get creative with the dippers using fruit, pretzels, graham crackers, marshmallows and more.



  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream {make sure it has the Real Seal}
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon orange zest {more for garnish}
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Dash of sea salt as a garnish with the orange zest {be careful not to use too much salt}
  • For the Dippers:
  • Cut up fruit: strawberry, kiwi, orange, banana, mango
  • Pretzels
  • Marshmallows
  • Graham crackers


  1. In a medium pan heat the heavy whipping cream over medium heat, whisking continuously to make sure it doesn’t burn.
  2. When the heavy whipping cream begins to bubble add the dark chocolate chips, vanilla extract and orange zest. Whisk until the chocolate is melted. This should not take very long–maybe 2 or 3 minutes.
  3. Remove from the heat and serve in a small bowl garnished with orange zest and a dash of sea salt with the dippers on the side.
