Scale

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup Butter Flavor Crisco
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup peanut butter chips
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chunks

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. In a mixer whip together butter, Crisco, sugars and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add in the egg and continue to mix until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the flours, salt and baking soda and then slowly add the mixture to the wet ingredients while beating on medium speed. Remove the bowl from the stand and stir in the chips and chunks by hand.
  4. Drop the dough onto the baking sheet by rounded tablespoons and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  5. Place on cooling rack and allow to cool before placing them in an air tight container.

Notes

In my oven it took 10 minutes for the cookies to be done so I suggest checking at that point.
