Honey Balsamic Green Beans are a ten minute side dish that will help you mix up your weekly vegetable routine. Crisp steamed green beans are drizzled with Marzetti© Veggie Drizzles™ Honey Balsamic Finish Sauce creating a delicious, simple side dish.

Do you ever feel like you are in a rut when it comes to feeding your family cooked vegetables? Sometimes I start to feel this way and realize that I am just putting plain green beans or broccoli on the table instead of trying to add flavor to the vegetables. I can tell my kids get bored with the same old routine and that is why I am always looking for new ways to mix things up and excite them with new vegetable dishes that have fun and interesting flavors.

Today I am excited to be sharing with you guys a new product by Marzetti® called Marzetti® Veggie Drizzle™ Finishing Sauces that I recently tried.  These finishing sauces are perfect for those busy days and nights when you want to put a healthy meal on the table but need to run to sports or work. If you are preparing a meal after your child’s basketball game it is easy to cook a vegetable and put the Marzetti® Veggie Drizzle™ product on the table and have each family member disperse the product on the cooked veggies on their plate.

With four fun flavors: Garlic Parmesan, Lemon Basil, Thai Chili, and Honey Balsamic, your family can personalize their flavor to their liking. Those who like a splash of sweet and spicy – Thai Chili; those who want rich and savory – Garlic Parm; those who want a refreshing citrusy flavor – Lemon Basil; those who like a splash of sweet and savory – Honey Balsamic.  The Marzetti® Veggie Drizzle™ products range between 20-45 calories.  The Marzetti® Veggie Drizzle™ finishing sauces can be found in produce section of the grocery store near the refrigerated pre-cut / pre-packaged veggies.

When you make a quick vegetable dish, like steamed green beans or cooked carrots or asparagus, Marzetti® Veggie Drizzle™ Finishing Sauces are the last step to complete your cooked dish.  Whether it’s flavoring a serving dish of cooked vegetables or an individual’s plate on the dinner table you can spice up traditional vegetables and impress your guests.  Once cooked vegetables are on the platter or on your plate you can easily flavor with dollops, swirls or zig-zags of Marzetti® Veggie Drizzle™ Finishing Sauces to keep things fun.

It is so simple and offers everyone a flavor to satisfy their tastes. The Marzetti® Veggie Drizzle™ products range between 20-45 calories.  The Marzetti® Veggie Drizzle™ finishing sauces can be found in produce section of the grocery store near the refrigerated pre-cut / pre-packaged items.

You should give one of these drizzles a try with your green beans! They are great and my kids loved them. The pairing sheet is really helpful too!
