Strawberry Blueberry Lemonade Spritzer is a refreshing drink that can be made into a cocktail or mocktail. Sweet strawberries and blueberries are mixed with a simple syrup, sparkling water, mint leaves and lemon juice. This festive drink would be perfect for your Memorial Day or 4th of July gatherings!

  • 1/2 cup Tate+Lyle┬« Organic Pure Cane Sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 lb. strawberries, hulled, sliced
  • 1 pint of blueberries
  • 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves {plus more for garnish}
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 4 cups of sparkling water

For the cocktail version:

  • 3 oz. vodka
  • 2 oz. triple sec

  1. TTo make the simple syrup, combine the 1/2 cup pure cane sugar sugar and 1/2 cup water in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Remove and let cool.
  2. Use a muddler to crush the mint leaves and 1/2 of the pint of strawberries to release the mint oils and strawberry juices. Do not strain the mixture {I like the strawberry and mint mixture as part of the drink.}
  3. Add the muddled strawberry and mint to a large pitcher along with the remaining strawberries {save a few strawberries for garnish} and the blueberries {save some for garnish}. Add the lemon juice and the simple syrup and stir. Once ready to serve the drinks add the sparkling water and the vodka and triple sec {if doing a cocktail} and stir to combine.
  4. Serve each person a mason jar filled with ice and add the Strawberry Blueberry Lemonade Spritzer and strawberries, blueberries and mint for garnish.

You could try other fruit like blackberries which work great.

If you don’t want to use fresh lemon juice, feel free to buy lemon juice at the store.

  • Serving Size: 1 mason jar
