This White Sangria Recipe is perfect for end of summer get together or the crisp cool days of fall and winter. White wine, rum, lime juice and pear juice are mixed together and garnished with pears, rosemary sprigs and finished off with sparkling water. This is refreshing and the perfect cocktail!
– 1 bottle white wine – 3/4 cup rum – 1 1/2 cups pear juice {if you can't find pear juice use white grape juice or apple juice} – 1 cup lime juice – 1 Pear, thinly sliced – 3 Rosemary sprigs – Around 2 cups soda or sparkling water – Ice – Pear slices and rosemary sprigs as a garnish
In a tall pitcher combine the white wine, rum, pear juice, lime juice, pear slices and rosemary sprigs. Stir to combine.
Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Fill the glasses with ice, fill until ¾ full with the sangria and top with the soda.
Garnish with rosemary sprigs and pear slices.
I used sauvignon blanc for the recipe but any sweeter white wine is great. If you have more time on your hands, chill the sangria for 4 to 6 hours. Other fruit that would be great in this sangria is apples, grapes or berries.
