LEBANESE MEAT PIES

Lebanese Meat Pies, otherwise known as Sfeehas, are triangles of bread dough that are baked with a rich, warm flavored ground beef mixture. The leftovers freeze great for later!

Frozen Dough  Ground Beef Or Lamb Onion | Cloves Cumin | Olive Oil Cinnamon | Allspice Cloves | Cayenne Pepper Salt and Pepper

INGREDIENTS

Let dough thaw and rise according to directions. 

Saute the garlic and onion in olive oil over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes. Cook the ground meat and the spices until the meat is browned and then drain the fat.  Place cooked meat in a mixing bowl.

Roll each dough round into a triangle. Place meat mixture in the middle of each piece of dough.  Pinch together the three sides of the dough to form a point in the middle. 

Spray each meat pie with a bit of olive oil. Bake for about 20 minutes at 400°.
