Mix the lemon juice, chopped sage, oregano, thyme, crushed red pepper flakes {optional}, and olive oil in a small bowl.

Heat the skillet over medium-high heat. Add the oil and garlic. Then, place the chicken and sear until the skin is golden brown and crispy.

Flip the chicken thighs and pour the herb and olive oil mixture over them. Place lemon slices under the chicken. Transfer to the preheated oven and roast until the skin is crispy.
