Ingredients
8peachespeeled, pitted and sliced
1lemonjuiced (about 3 Tablespoons)
1/2teaspoonground cinnamon
1/4teaspoonground nutmeg
1/4teaspoonground cloves
1/4teaspoonallspice
Pinchsalt
1/4cupwhole wheat flour
1/4cupdark brown sugarpacked
1 1/2cupsquick cook oats {uncooked}
4tablespoonsbuttercut into thin slices
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 F.
In a large bowl combine the peach slices and the lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, allspice, salt and gently stir. Set aside.
In another large bowl whisk together the whole wheat flour, dark brown sugar and the quick-cooking oats.
Put the peaches in the bottom of a 9-inch non-stick baking pan. Top with the topping and cut in the butter until crumbly. Sprinkle with extra cinnamon if you would like. Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
