This Greek Marinated Chicken with Tzatziki Sauce uses a simple Mediterranean marinade that creates a flavorful chicken that is grilled and topped with a tangy Greek Yogurt Dill Sauce.
CHICKEN MARINADE Olive Oil | Lemon | Garlic Cloves Oregano | Thyme | Paprika Cumin | Cayenne Pepper Salt And Black Pepper DILL SAUCE Plain Greek Yogurt | Lemon Juice Olive Oil | Garlic Clove Fresh Dill
Trim fat from the chicken. Add the chicken to a large ziplock bag or container. In a small bowl combine olive oil, lemon, garlic cloves, oregano, thyme, paprika, cumin, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper and mix well.
Pour the marinade over the chicken and massage it into the meat until fully coated with the marinade. Refrigerate for two hours. After marinating, allow the chicken to sit, covered in the bag of marinade while the grill preheats.
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Brush grill grates with oil. Remove chicken from marinade; discard marinade. Place the chicken on the grill and cook for 5 minutes per side or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 F.
