This year we made the journey to Tennessee to enjoy the Smoky Mountains and good company.
I hope that today you are eating delicious food and gathering to enjoy your family’s company.
Today I wanted to take a quick moment to say how thankful I am for you, all of you–the readers of A Cedar Spoon. This little corner of the Internet that I started one year ago has quickly turned into a wonderful journey of learning new recipes, engaging with wonderful people from around the world and learning from others. My passion has continued to grow and this little blog has offered me a wonderful creative outlet.
As you celebrate Thanksgiving today I hope you take a few minutes to reflect on what you are thankful for this year and every year. For me I am thankful for so much: my loving, supportive family and friends, a warm place to live, a table full of delicious food. I am thankful for the knowledge of others that fills my life and makes me a better person. I am especially thankful this year for my energetic two year old and his little brother that will make an appearance into the world in less than two months. I am so blessed to have children as a part of my life and have the best job, to be a Mom, in the world. I learn something new each and every day about myself through my child. I would not be the mother I am without my loving, best friend, my husband. He makes me strive to be a better person and I am so lucky to have him in my life.
And lastly, to you, my readers. I am so thankful that you stop by and read A Cedar Spoon, try the recipes and share your knowledge and excitement with me. This year has truly been a blessing.
