S'more A&W Root Beer Floats

We love summer in my house because it means extra family time, especially on the weekends when Mike isn’t working. But summertime fun is not just for kids anymore. A&W Root Beer

is giving everyone more reasons to stay up late on Friday nights to spend time together as a family with these S’mores A&W Root Beer Floats These root beer floats are a great activity for your family to do together, making your Friday night extra flavorful.

I have always loved A&W Root Beer since I was little and remember making A&W root beer floats with my grandma. I love being able to continue the fun with my kids, especially with this new twist that combines two of their favorite things: s’mores and root beer floats. A&W Root Beer is that perfect mixture of crispy, sweet and creamy root beer that pairs so nicely with cold vanilla ice cream.

We use mini mugs or glasses when we make these S’mores A&W Root Beer Floats, but feel free to use whatever you like. If you have some glasses that you keep in the freezer, those work great to keep your float cold. Start by adding a scoop of vanilla ice cream to your mug or glass.

Then fill the glass up with your A&W Root Beer. Top your float with graham crackers, marshmallows, chocolate chips and a drizzle of chocolate syrup.

S'more A&W Root Beer Floats Ingredients

My kids love float night and look forward to it every summer. It’s so nice to have something that the whole family can enjoy together. My kids love putting the toppings on their floats by themselves.

I always leave a variety of options out and let them pick what they put on theirs. You can mix things up by adding chunks of chocolate, using colored marshmallows, or switching to white chocolate chips. It’s fun to get creative!

When I shop at my local Giant Eagle, I like to either buy the A&W Root Beer 2-Liter or the A&W Root Beer 12-Pack of cans. Either of these work great when you are creating your floats.

Giant Eagle also has all of the other ingredients you will need to put together these mouth watering S’mores A&W Root Beer Floats. In the summer, you often can find s’mores ingredients together in a display at Giant Eaglewhich makes it super easy to buy what you need. Make sure to take advantage of this coupon for $1 off on two (2) 2L or one (1) 12pk of A&W Root Beer next time you shop!
