Sesame Ginger Steamed Broccoli takes 10 minutes to make and adds flavor to a healthy broccoli side dish that your family will love.

Sesame Ginger Broccoli

Good Morning guys!

Can you believe it is March? Andrew is one month old today and time is flying by. We are slowly but surely beginning to adjust to having two little ones. I must say coffee has once again become my best friend and I am remembering what it is like to function on very little sleep!

If you live in a colder climate do you feel like you have cabin fever big time? I do! I keep looking at the 10 day forecast and crossing my fingers that I will see a 40 or 50 degree day pop up. It has been a LONG winter and even longer the past few weeks because I didn’t want to take a newborn into the negative temperatures.

Today I am sharing a quick and easy vegetable recipe that you can prepare in 10 minutes or less. As a Mom I am constantly trying to get my son to eat the healthy stuff. Vegetables, fruits, grains…the stuff that a lot of kids just don’t want to eat.  Broccoli is one of those vegetables I am always putting in front of him. I have been lucky so far and he eats it right up.  I like to try new ways to cook broccoli to change things up including adding different spices, roasting, steaming…

Sesame Ginger Broccoli

Today’s recipe for Sesame Ginger Steamed Broccoli takes your traditional steamed broccoli and gives it a little Asian flavor.  The sesame and ginger really add a light flavor that liven up a sometimes boring side dish. This healthy side dish is ready to serve your family in 10 minutes. Just chop the broccoli, put the ginger, sesame and water in a pot and steam the broccoli. Wallah!

Top with sesame seeds & you have a fun, new way to serve broccoli!
