A fruity, flavorful smoothie packed with vitamin C, iron, calcium and more to give you a nutritious snack or start to your day.

Pineapple Spinach Strawberry Smoothie

I will be the first to admit that not all smoothies have that beautiful, glowing color.  A few weeks ago I made a Cranberry Pear Orange Smoothie and the color was out of this world.

That smoothie was bright, bold and beautiful.

Today’s Pineapple Spinach Strawberry Smoothie isn’t a pretty color but it tastes just as good and is packed full of nutrition.

This year I am trying to reset my diet and add more vegetables, fruits and colors to my plate and cup.  Over the past three months when we were relating to Cleveland, Ohio life became stressful and crazy.  With Mike gone for two months it was hard to find time to work out and sometimes honestly eating healthy meals every day was a struggle. Needless to say I have hit the reset button and am working hard to get back on track.

If you have followed along on A Cedar Spoon for any length of time you have probably figured out that my family loves smoothies.  I make a huge batch in the morning and pour the kids small cups and Mike and I a big helping.

As you look ahead to 2015 my goal is to provide you guys with nutritious, easy recipes to help you stay on track and lead a healthier life with a few indulgences mixed in of course.

I would love to connect with you on Facebook, PinterestTwitterGoogle + and Instagram.
