BUFFALO QUESO CHEESE CHICKEN DIP
Tis the season for warm, cheesy dips, right?
In my house once football season rolls around you can find my husband in front of the television watching Sunday football, especially if the Green Bay Packers are playing. I like to have a few dips on hand along with a big slow cooker of chili ready to cozy up and watch the Packers hopefully win. Buffalo Queso Cheese Chicken Dip is a version of your favorite buffalo dip using shredded chicken, La Terra Fina Queso Cheese Dip, hot sauce, blue cheese and sharp cheddar cheese to create the ultimate game day or tailgating dip.
I am telling you, this dip goes fast. Put a platter of this warm cheese dip out and I promise you it will be gone in no-time. I like to serve this dip with cut up celery or chips, but you could also use crackers or pita chips. If you are feeling extra adventurous try a batch of crispy cauliflower to dip in it.
Why should I use La Terra Fina’s Queso Cheese Dip in This Appetizer?
Besides the fact that using a container of their already made dip makes this super easy, I love the flavors it brings into the dip along with the fact that their dips have no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. This dip is also gluten-free and their dairy is from cows not treated with rBST*.
Aside from this Queso Dip, La Terra Fina has a whole line of dips that are perfect for game day. You guys have to check them out! A few of my favorites are their Artichoke & Jalapeño, Sriracha Three Cheese and their Lemon Cheesecake.
How do I make Buffalo Chicken Dip?
One thing I love about buffalo chicken dip is how easy it is to make. Today’s version is even easier because you are using the La Terra Fina Queso Dip as the base and just adding the other ingredients in and mixing it up. When I make this dip I like to buy a rotisserie chicken at the store and shred it to make things super simple but you can also make a whole chicken in the slow cooker and shred that. From there you are mixing together hot sauce {I like Frank’s hot sauce but whatever you have is great}, blue cheese, a small amount of ranch dressing and cheddar cheese. It is that easy!
Can I Make Buffalo Chicken Dip Ahead of Time?
Yes it can! You could easily make this dip the night before your get together or tailgate and pop it in the oven when you are ready to serve it. The best part of this dip is the warm, gooey cheese so make sure you give it at least 20 minutes to bake in the oven before you serve it.
This Buffalo Queso Cheese Chicken Dip is always a crowd pleaser when I host parties and tailgates. I don’t know about you but nothing beats a dip with a little spice and a lot of cheese. Am I right?
