In the winter months I sometimes find myself eating too much comfort food and not enough variety of brightly colored foods. My focus this winter has been to try and incorporate more of these colorful, bright foods onto my families plates. I am a firm believer of the rule that the more colors on your plate the better because it adds a variety of vitamins and minerals to your diet. When I am creating recipes for my family I try my hardest to have a variety of colors on our plates…from greens, to yellows, to reds. The brighter the better in my kitchen.
I hope today’s round-up from some great food bloggers will inspire you to eat the rainbow!
