A White Chocolate Frappuccino is great any time of the day, but I love to serve it in the afternoon when I need a boost of energy. White Chocolate Chips are melted into hot espresso coffee before being blended together with ice and cream to make this deliciously satisfying drink.

Today’s Homemade White Chocolate Frappuccino is inspired by Starbucks White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino that many of you probably have had.
Using a few simple ingredients, this Easy Frappuccino recipe can be made in a matter of minutes. Perfect for breakfast or a mid afternoon pick-me up. To make this homemade frappuccino you one have to do a few simple steps.
Start by brewing the coffee, then melt the chocolate chips and put everything into a blender. It could not be simpler! Buying drinks at your local coffee shop can be expensive so I like to make my own version of coffee shop drinks at home.

Recipe Ingredients

See full list of simple ingredients below in recipe card with exact measurements.
- Chocolate: Adds the sweetness and lots of flavor to this creamy frappuccino. Chocolate chips work best as they melt quickly into the hot coffee. However, you could also use a bar of white chocolate and break it up into smaller pieces.
- Espresso Coffee: I use 4 shots of hot espresso coffee to melt the chocolate chips. The bitter coffee balances out the sweetness from the chocolate.
- Half and Half: I have used half and half as it gives a lovely velvety, creamy texture to this drink. You can use any variety of milk that you like to drink or swap out the milk for a plant based milk instead.
- Whipped Cream: Whipping cream is swirled on top of the frappuccino just before serving. You can also whip up some heavy cream if you don’t have whipping cream in the fridge.

How to Make a White Chocolate Frappaccino
Step 1: Add Chocolate & Coffee: In a glass add the white chocolate chips with the hot coffee.
Step 2: Combine Cream with Chocolate: Stir to combine until all the chocolate chips are melted. Transfer to the glass of a blender. Add the heavy cream and pulse.

Step 3: Add Ice and Serve: Add the ice and pulse until everything is icy and combined. Pour into 2 tall glasses and top with heavy cream.

Recipe Variations
- Use any variety of milk! I have opted for half and half but you can use any variety of milk you like to drink. Substitute cows milk for plant based milks instead. I have used almond, coconut and oat milk in a Frappuccino and they taste great.
- Don’t have white chocolate chips? No problem, use milk chocolate for a Easy Homemade Mocha Frapuccino variation.
- For a decaffeinated version, swap regular espresso coffee for decaf espresso coffee instead.
- Sweetener: I think the white chocolate chips are sweet enough in this creamy white chocolate frappuccino. However, if you do want to add extra sweetness I would recommend using honey, maple syrup or agave syrup. Just add it along with the ice.
- Add your own additional toppings to your frappuccino just before serving. Here are some ideas for you: shaved chocolate; white chocolate chips or sprinkle over some brown sugar.
- This recipe can be divided or doubled up depending on the numbers you are serving.

Storage Tips
Store the leftover Frappuccino in a mason jar or airtight container for up to 2 days.
