Your favorite potatoes are tossed in olive oil and smoked paprika and roasted until they are soft on the inside and crispy on the outside paired with a creamy yogurt dipping sauce. These Paprika Roasted Potatoes with Spiced Yogurt Sauce make the perfect side dish to any meal.

I am back with another delicious potato recipe. If you are not a fan of potatoes, stay tuned, I promise I will be back soon with a variety of other recipes that you will love.
I have been on a huge potato kick lately. I just can’t stop making them–from this Cauliflower Pepper Potato Salad to these Lebanese Spicy Potatoes (Batata Harra). I just love warm, crisp potatoes this time of year.
Paprika Roasted Potatoes with Spiced Yogurt Sauce use your favorite potatoes and tosses them in olive oil, smoked paprika {or regular paprika}, salt and pepper and they are roasted until the center is soft the outside is crispy.
So when I made these Paprika Roasted Potatoes with Spiced Yogurt Sauce I knew I wanted to use this whole fat, double cream yogurt in the sauce instead of sour cream or mayonnaise. You won’t even notice the difference, I promise! And it is a healthier option for those that love dipping.

Recipe Ingredients

You will love this easy recipe and the simple ingredients. It is one of my favorite recipes!
- potatoes: this recipe uses red potatoes that are cubed. I like the way they roast but if you want you can use any variety like new potatoes, fingerling potatoes or yukon gold potatoes.
- garlic: fresh garlic is minced and added in with the potatoes. I suggest fresh garlic if you can get ahold of it but garlic powder also can work in place of fresh.
- paprika: smoked paprika is the star spice of these potatoes and adds a deep smoky flavor. If you don’t like the smoky flavor you can use regular sweet paprika.
- parsley: fresh parsley is added as a finishing touch to these potatoes. You can swap parsley with cilantro if you want.
- yogurt sauce: the yogurt dipping sauce mixes together smoked paprika and yogurt.

For the Spiced Yogurt Dipping Sauce:
Step 3: Create Dipping Sauce: In a medium mixing bowl combine the yogurt, paprika, salt, pepper and garlic.
