AIR FRYER BONELESS PORK CHOPS
I don’t know about you but I love my air fryer.
I use it for so many recipes from Air Fryer Cod, Air Fryer Pork Tenderloin, Air Fryer Coconut Chicken Tenders, Air Fryer Salmon to Air Fryer Pork Taquitos.
I love how easy air frying is, how crispy the food yet still making juicy air fryer pork chops and how easy clean-up is.
Today’s Air Fryer Boneless Pork Chops is the perfect weeknight meal. They really are the best pork chops and one of my favorite ways to make pork.
The boneless pork chops are rubbed with simple seasonings and then a layer of bbq sauce is added. You will love this recipe that uses simple ingredients.
Once the pork chops are cooked in the air fryer I like to add another layer of bbq sauce before serving.
The nice thing about making delicious pork chops for a family of kids that play sports is that they are protein packed.
Every 3 ounces of pork is packed full of 22 – 24 grams of protein depending on the cut which is great.

Recipe Ingredients for Air Fryer Pork Chop Recipe
- Pork Chops: When I make air-fried pork chops I like to use boneless chops but you can use bone-in if you want. Just remember the cook time may vary because sometimes bone-in pork chops take a bit longer to cook. This recipe uses 4 pork chops that are 7-8 ounces and are pretty thick pork chops.
- Spices: These pork chops are rubbed with a spice mixture of paprika and garlic powder before adding the BBQ sauce on them. I like starting with the seasoned pork chops because it adds that extra layer of flavor. If you have a BBQ rub on hand you can use that instead to rub on both sides of the pork chops.
- BBQ Sauce: I like to make a homemade BBQ sauce when I make these pork chops. If you have a favorite store-bought BBQ sauce you can use that to make this recipe even easier.
How to Make This Easy Pork Chop Recipe
1. Prepare the Pork Chops: Preheat the air fryer. Place pork chops on a cutting board or on a plate. Dry with paper towel.
2. Make the Spice Rub: Mix the paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper in a small mixing bowl.
Rub the spice mixture on both sides of the 4 pork chops. Use a brush to spread the BBQ sauce on both sides of the pork chops.
3. Cook the Pork in the Air Fryer: Place the pork chops in the air-fryer basket in a single layer.
Set the air fryer to 375 degrees F and air fry for about 15 minutes or until the internal temperature is 145 degrees F with a meat thermometer , flipping halfway through.
4. Serve: Remove the pork chops from the air fryer and brush more BBQ sauce on each pork chop. Serve warm with a simple salad or your favorite sides.
What Temperature Should a Pork Chop Be Cooked To?
When cooking pork you want to see that blush of pink inside the pork or reach an internal temperature of 145 degrees F.
I know a lot of people still think that pork should be cooked until all of the pink is gone, but the FDA recommends a blush of pink as safe. If you overcook your pork it will be dried out and not as flavorful. This article is helpful about how long to cook 2-inch pork chops! If you are using thick chops make sure to cook a big longer than thin pork chops.
How Do I Store Leftover Pork Chops?
You can store cooked pork chops in a shallow airtight container in the fridge. Pork chops will last for 3 to 4 days in the refrigerator.
What to Pair with These Pork Chops?
I love salads with all of my meals. Some of our favorites are this Lemon Arugula Salad with Pine Nuts, Kale Salad with Lemon Dressing or this Shaved Brussels Sprout Salad.
Vegetable side dishes are always a nice addition to any main meal. I enjoy these Simple Garlic Parmesan Green Beans, Mediterranean Roasted Vegetables, or Turmeric Cauliflower.
Potatoes are great to serve with pork chops, perfect for soaking up the butter pan juices. I like these Spicy Lebanese Potatoes, Lemon Cilantro Roasted Potatoes, Crispy Garlic Roasted Potatoes, Gouda Mashed Potatoes, or these Air Fryer Twice Baked Potatoes.
