Air Fryer Boneless Pork Chops

Air Fryer Boneless Pork Chops are so easy to make! You can get this meal on the table in under 20 minutes. The pork chops are tender and flavorful on the inside with a nice crust on the outside of the pork. The BBQ sauce helps lock in the flavor and keep the moisture in the pork chops.

AIR FRYER BONELESS PORK CHOPS

I don’t know about you but I love my air fryer.

I use it for so many recipes from Air Fryer Cod, Air Fryer Pork Tenderloin, Air Fryer Coconut Chicken Tenders, Air Fryer Salmon to Air Fryer Pork Taquitos

I love how easy air frying is, how crispy the food gets without using a lot of oil and how easy clean-up is.

Today’s Air Fryer Boneless Pork Chops is the perfect meal for those busy weeknights. They really are the best pork chops.

The boneless pork chops are rubbed with a spice mixture and then a layer of bbq sauce is added.

Once the pork chops are cooked in the air fryer I like to add another layer of bbq sauce before serving.

The nice thing about making pork chops for a family of kids that play sports is that they are protein packed.

Every 3 ounces of pork is packed full of 22 – 24 grams of protein depending on the cut which is great.

WHAT INGREDIENTS ARE IN THESE AIR FRY PORK CHOPS

PORK CHOPS: When I make this I like to use boneless pork chops but you can use bone-in if you want. Just remember the cook time may vary because sometimes bone-in pork chops take a bit longer to cook.

This recipe uses 4 pork chops that are 7-8 ounces and are pretty thick pork chops.

SPICES: These pork chops are rubbed with a spice mixture of paprika and garlic powder before adding the BBQ sauce on them. I like starting with the seasoned pork chops because it adds that extra layer of flavor.

If you have a BBQ rub on hand you can use that instead to rub on both sides of the pork chops.

BBQ SAUCE: I like to make a homemade BBQ sauce when I make these pork chops.

If you have a favorite store-bought BBQ sauce you can use that to make this recipe even easier.

COOK THE PORK IN THE AIR FRYER: Place the pork chops in the air fryer basket in a single layer.

Set the air fryer to 375 degrees F and air fry for about 15 minutes or until the internal temperature is 145 degrees F with a meat thermometer , flipping halfway through.

Rmove the pork chops from the air fryer and brush more BBQ sauce on each pork chop. Serve warm.

WHAT TEMPERATURE SHOULD A PORK CHOPS BE COOKED TO?

When cooking pork you want to see that blush of pink inside the pork or reach an internal temperature of 145 degrees F.

I know a lot of people still think that pork should be cooked until all of the pink is gone, but the FDA recommends a blush of pink as safe. If you overcook your pork it will be dried out and not as flavorful.

This article is helpful about how long to cook 2-inch pork chops!

HOW DO I STORE LEFTOVER PORK CHOPS?

You can store cooked pork chops in a shallow airtight container in the fridge.

Pork chops will last for 3 to 4 days in the refrigerator.

WHAT SHOULD I PAIR WITH THIS EASY PORK CHOP RECIPE?

Vegetable side dishes are another nice pairing. Some of my favorites are Mediterranean Roasted Vegetables, Turmeric Cauliflower or this Simple Roasted Broccoli

We often add potatoes to our meals like these Spicy Lebanese Potatoes, Air Fryer Twice Baked Potato or Crispy Potatoes
