When it comes to beef I love using flavorful marinades to spice up the meat and infuse flavor. Today’s Bourbon Marinade does just that! This marinade is packed with delicious flavors including Bourbon whiskey, soy sauce, ginger and Worcestershire Sauce.

With this marinade you just combine everything in a large ziplock bag, add your favorite cut of beef {ideally use 3 pounds of beef for this marinade}, 6 to 8 hours or overnight and then cook the meat. I love the flavors this marinade adds to the beef. We tried this with steaks and then grilled them and paired them with these Simple Garlic Parmesan Green Beans and these Smashed Potatoes.  I also used it on a roast which worked great as well!

As we get into the busy days of the year marinades are great to have in our back pocket. All it takes is a simple, flavorful marinade soaking overnight into the beef to create the perfect, comforting meal.

If you like marinades as much as I do you need to try my friend Jess from Stuck on Sweet’s “The Best Steak Marinade” — I tried it recently and it is also a really good one!

And if you are still wanting more marinades for your next beef dinner here are a few more that sound pretty darn good.
