RECIPE NOTES AND TIPS

While I provide step-by-step instructions with the method, often there are recipe notes and tips that help you make the most out of the recipe. Here are some of the essential tips and tricks to help you make this tasty grilled salmon dish.

  • If you want to grill each side you can but it isn’t essential. If you choose not to flip them then you will want to grill the salmon on the skin side down for about 13-15 minutes.
  • Keep some marinade to one side so that you can brush the salmon and pineapple while cooking. This is a great method if you choose to use the BBQ grill and cook outside.
  • You can either use ground ginger or fresh ginger if you have it. Fresh ginger is such a nice addition and adds a ton of flavor.
