4 Ingredient Creamy Dill Salad Dressing
I realized recently that I am lacking in the homemade salad dressing recipe section. I make a lot of my own dressings and love that I can control the ingredients and flavors depending on my mood. They are so simple to make too which is always a bonus in my book.
I often pull out my blender if I want a really smooth consistency to my dressing but all you really need is a bowl and a spoon or whisk. Today’s 4 Ingredient Creamy Dill Salad Dressing is one of my new favorite homemade salad dressing recipes. I was buying a creamy dill dressing from the store and realized I could easily make it at home with 4 simple ingredients: Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, fresh dill and lemon juice.
I find that using Greek yogurt in dressing is not only healthier but helps to create a creamy texture. 4 Ingredient Creamy Dill Salad Dressing is also a perfect dip for your vegetables. Before meals or as a snack I like to snack on cut up vegetables and having a dip on hand is always a plus.
There is something about the yogurt and dill combination that always gets me. I also really like using this dressing in non-traditional ways, like drizzling it over grilled salmon or salmon. I make my dressings in a blender to create a really smooth consistency but this can easily be made with a simple bowl and spoon or whisk. Once my dressing is done I store it in an airtight mason jar in the fridge for easy access.
Today’s 4 Ingredient Creamy Dill Salad Dressing is in partnership with Stonyfield and TheCookful.com which is a new website launched by a fellow food blogger.
It’s an exciting contributor-based site where they take on a food topic and really dig into it, posting daily on all aspects of the topic. At the end of March they tackled salad dressing and shared some delicious yogurt based dressing. One of the recipes on the site is a Ranch Dressing with Greek Yogurt recipe which I used as inspiration for today’s recipe. I of course used my favorite Stonyfield Greek Yogurt for this recipe and most of my yogurt recipes.
Stop over and check out all of their delicious creations and start adding homemade yogurt dressings to your rotation!
