GREEK CHICKEN BURGERS

Summer is all about easy, healthy meals. Today I am excited to be sharing with you quick and easy Greek Chicken Burgers using al fresco’s new chicken burgers that will be arriving in stores soon.

You guys are going to love these burgers topped with your favorite Greek flavors like kalamata olives, roasted red peppers, feta cheese and arugula. I like to keep a few packages of these in my fridge or freeze for the busy nights.

If you are looking for a budget-friendly, all-natural, low calorie meal option (less than 180) then these chicken burgers are for you. I also loved that they are fully seasoned and easy to prep helping you get this meal on the table in under 20 minutes.

al fresco’s new chicken burgers are a great way to mix up your go-to meals and cooking-at-home routine this summer. You can grill these burgers in a matter of minutes and have a meal on the table. I love pairing these burgers with different toppings, condiments and sauces depending on my tastes. From time to time I will create a 4 Ingredient Creamy Dill Salad Dressing  to spread on my burgers or top it with this Lemon Hummus

WHAT TOPPINGS SHOULD I PUT ON MY GRILLED BURGERS?

Toppings can take a boring burger to a whole new level. If you have been following me for any length of time you know my love of Mediterranean ingredients. Here are some that I think work great on burgers:

VEGETABLES: I love adding a variety of vegetables to my burgers including roasted red peppers, artichokes, bell peppers, cucumbers and tomatoes.

OLIVES: Olives are a Mediterranean favorite and I love adding these salty beauties to my burgers. I especially like using kalamata olives.

SAUCES: A sauce can take a burger to another level. Some of my favorites are a Tahini Yogurt Sauce, easy hummus or a White Bean Artichoke Dip.

CHEESE: Many people love cheese on burgers. When I make Greek or Mediterranean style burgers I add feta or goat cheese.

GREENS: Greens add a healthy addition to burgers. Try adding spinach, romaine or arugula to yours!

WHAT SHOULD I PAIR MY CHICKEN BURGERS WITH?

Corn on the cob is always a favorite with grilled burgers. I love this Mexican Corn on the Cob. If you love corn but not on the cob try my Mexican Street Corn Salad

Summer vegetables are always a favorite paired with a grilled meal. These Mediterranean Roasted Vegetables or this Ratatouille are two I like this time of year.

Light summer salads also work great with these Greek Chicken Burgers. My favorite are this Summer Orzo Pasta Salad, Easy Lebanese Salad or this Mediterranean Bean Salad

Potatoes are also a great side dish. A few of my favorites that I make time and time again are these Spicy Lebanese Potatoes, these Lemon Cilantro Roasted Potatoes or these Crispy Garlic Roasted Potatoes
