GREEK BEEF PITA PIZZA

A few months ago Mike and I took a trip to Greece and it was nothing short of amazing.

It exceeded all of my expectations. Of course one of my favorite parts of the trip was the food.

I have a serious love for Mediterranean food and I knew I would fall in love with Greek food and all of the bright, fresh flavors.

This Greek Beef Pita Pizza recipe is filled with the ingredients I ate daily while on my trip paired with juicy, flavorful Certified Angus Beef ® ground beef to create a protein packed lunch or dinner.

I love making pita pizzas in our house for lunches and dinners.

They are really easy to put together and you can make each pita pizza different depending on each person’s preferences.

When I make pita pizzas I like to set the ingredients out and have my kids create their own. It is a great way to get your kids involved in the kitchen.

If you like today’s Greek Beef Pita Pizza you have to check out this Chicken Feta Cheddar Pita Pitza, Spiced Beef and Hummus Pita Pizza, Spiced Ground Lamb Pita Recipe or these Greek Hummus Pita Bites

Lets quickly talk about that juicy Certified Angus Beef ® ground beef that brings all that flavor and protein to a Greek Beef Pita Pizza.

You probably see Certified Angus Beef ® brand in your local stores or in restaurants a lot.

I always look for the Certified Angus Beef ® brand logo when shopping for beef.

When you buy their beef you know that you are getting a premium product, full of flavor, that will be packed with flavor when you cook it.

Did you know that Certified Angus Beef ® brand isn’t just Angus beef?

It’s Certified Angus Beef ® brand which means it’s passed several rigorous standards that allow it to rise above all other Angus beef in taste and quality.

Certified Angus Beef® brand doesn’t actually raise the cattle but they select the best beef farmers across the United States.

The Certified Angus Beef® brand community is actually made up of small ranchers from coast to coast, most of whom have only 20-40 cattle in their herds.

Only 1 in 4 Angus cattle meet the Certified Angus Beef® brand’s 10 quality standards.  Just look for that Certified Angus Beef® brand logo.

That’s how you’ll know you’re purchasing top quality beef for you and your family!

When it comes to this Greek Beef Pita Pizza recipe I love all of the ingredients.

These pita pizzas are super easy to make. You start by cooking your Certified Angus Beef® ground beef along with warm, rich spices.

Then you spread an even layer of hummus on each pita round {or try naan}.

From there you top your ground beef on each pita followed by whatever Greek inspired ingredients you fancy.

I like to put diced tomatoes, red onion, parsley, feta cheese and pepperonicinis on mine.

If you like your pita pizzas warmed up you can put them in the oven for about 5 minutes on 350 degrees F.

These make a really easy dinner that your family will love but they also work great for lunches!
