PROSCIUTTO ARUGULA PIZZA
We are back from sunny Florida and I am trying to get back into the swing of things.
I will admit this time around it has been extremely hard to come back to reality.
I am not totally sure why but I just haven’t been able to get myself back into the groove.
Today’s Prosciutto Arugula Pizza definately helps a little!
This is one of my favorite pizza combinations that we make at home.
When I lived in Chicago Mariano’s was my favorite grocery store.
One of the pizzas that they sold was a combination very similar to today’s Prosciutto Arugula Pizza.
I really like topping pizza and flatbreads with arugula like in this Warm Pear Brie Arugula Naan.
I love the salty prosciutto paired with the peppery arugula, mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
The pizza crust is brushed with an olive oil and garlic combination which gives the crust good flavor.
I also tossed the arugula with a little drizzle of olive oil and lemon juice adding a touch of sweetness.

Notes
You can use more prosciutto if you like to have more on your pizza.
Another option to pizza dough is to use Naan. Some brands {Stonefire being one} make a pizza naan that works great.
One of my favorite pizza combos – you’ve inspired me to make it at home instead of always getting it at restaurants!
