MEDITERRANEAN NAAN BREAD PIZZA
I love anything that is loaded with Mediterranean ingredients.
This Mediterranean Naan Pizza takes traditional pizza and puts a Mediterranean twist on it with a layer of hummus and feta cheese along with other delicious Mediterranean ingredients.
There is something so satisfying about layering those colorful, flavor packed ingredients on a piece of naan bread.
Today’s Mediterranean Naan Bread Pizza is the perfect appetizer, lunch, dinner or snack that you can customize to your liking.
When I make my Naan Bread Pizza I like to layer on hummus, tomatoes, olives, feta cheese, greens, parsley and green onions.
Of course I also like to finish it off with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and a sprinkling of sumac.
Other flatbread options that I like are this Spiced Ground Lamb Pita, Greek Pita Pizza, Mediterranean Flatbread, Spiced Beef and Hummus Pita Pizza and this Mediterranean Naan.

HOW DO YOU MAKE A NAAN BREAD PIZZA?
This is really one of the easiest appetizers you can make for a crowd!
Start by spreading the hummus in an even layer on each flatbread or naan.
Top the each flatbread with the olives, artichokes, tomatoes, feta, micro greens, green onions and parsley split evenly.
Garnish with fresh parsley and a balsamic glaze. Serve immediately.
WHAT OTHER TOPPINGS CAN I ADD TO MY NAAN BREAD PIZZA?
GREENS: I added micro greens to my naan but you can use any greens you like. I especially love arugula or spinach.
CHEESE: Aside from feta cheese some other options that work nicely are goat cheese or Parmesan cheese.
VEGETABLES: You can add whatever veggies you have on hand. I love chopped cucumbers, bell peppers, roasted red peppers, carrots and radish.
PROTEIN: Another nice option is to add a protein like grilled chicken, shrimp or salmon.
BEANS: Another nice way to add protein is to top your naan pizza with beans. I especially like chickpeas or white beans.
SPREADS: You can use any spread you like from Lemon Hummus to Spicy Hummus to Baba Ghanoush.

Mediterranean Naan Bread Pizza
Mediterranean Naan Bread Pizza is a colorful, healthy appetizer or meal filled with your favorite Mediterranean ingredients. Naan bread is topped with a creamy layer of hummus and topped with tomatoes, olives, artichokes, greens, olives, green onions and parsley and finished off with a drizzle of olive oil. You can serve this cold or warm!
Ingredients
- 2 large flatbread or naan
- 1 - 10 ounce package Etsi Roasted Red Pepper Hummus
- 1/2 cup of kalamata and green olives, quartered
- 6 ounces artichokes in oil, drained and chopped
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, cut in half
- 4 ounces of feta cheese
- 1/2 cup of micro greens or arugula
- 1/4 cup of green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup of fresh parsley, chopped
- Drizzle of extra virgin olive oil or balsamic glaze
Instructions
- Spread the hummus in an even layer on each flatbread or naan.
- Top the each flatbread with the olives, artichokes, tomatoes, feta, micro greens, green onions and parsley split evenly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and a balsamic glaze. Serve immediately.
Notes
Optional: I eat this flatbread as is but if you like a warm flatbread heat the oven to 350 degrees F. Bake the flatbread for 5-6 minutes, until the naan or flatbread gets crispy.
You can get creative with your Mediterranean flatbread. Try adding other mediterranean ingredients like banana peppers, pepperoncinis, chickpeas or white beans, spinach or arugula.
When it comes to the hummus feel free to use whatever you have on hand or use any store-bough hummus you like.

Just made this! Super simple to make and probably one of the most delicious things I’ve ever eaten. Not kidding! I used garlic flavored naan and skipped the artichoke since I didn’t have any. This was freaking delicious! Thank you for sharing.
