EASY GREEK BURGER RECIPE

You guys probably know my love for all types of Greek recipes and ingredients.

I just can’t get enough of them from a big Greek inspired salad like this Greek Quinoa Salad to a Layered Greek Dip to Greek Meatballs I am always eating Greek inspired recipes.

I excited to be partnering today with BUBBA burger to bring you another delicious way to take your burgers to the next level.

You might remember last month when I shared this Easy Avocado Burger – which used a creamy guacamole to top your favorite BUBBA Burger.

Today we are taking your favorite creamy tzatziki and topping that on the burger with your other favorite burger toppings.

I like to serve this burger with a quick Greek salad on the side like this Village Greek Salad or this Greek Chickpea Salad

I think that tzatziki and beef are just made to go together – the creamy, cool yogurt reminds me of my childhood. We always ate kibbeh or beef kofta kebabs and topped it with yogurt which reminds me of tzatziki.

What I love most about Angus BUBBA burgers is that they only use ONE ingredient- 100% USDA Angus Beef.

No additives or preservatives which makes me happy.

For the busy nights I keep a couple of boxes in our freezer so I can pull them out and have dinner ready quickly.

I love the convenience.

And the nice thing with these burgers is that you can take them from the freezer and put them straight on the grill or skillet.

They are ready in 10 minutes – juicy, flavorful and perfect to add all your favorite toppings to.

They are a life-saver on those nights you are scrambling to get dinner on the table.

Another thing I love about BUBBA burger is the variety they offer- from beef, to turkey, to plant-based, they have options for everyone available nationwide.

HOW DO YOU MAKE A GREEK BURGER?

FOR THE GRILL:
Heat the grill to medium-high heat.

Cook your Angus BUBBA burgers on the grill straight from the freezer (no thawing required). Grill for 5-6 minutes on each side.

When the juices begin to rise to the top of the burger it is time to flip them.

Burgers are done when they reach an internal temperature of 160 degrees F.

FOR THE TZATZIKI SAUCE:

While the grill is heating make the Tzatziki sauce by combining the Greek yogurt, garlic, extra virgin olive oil, red wine vinegar, dill, cucumber salt and pepper and stir well to combine.

Put in a covered container and refrigerate until ready to serve.

TO ASSEMBLE THE BURGERS:

Set out 4 buns and top with lettuce, onion and then the burgers.

Top the burger with a sprinkling of feta cheese and a dollop of tzatziki sauce. Enjoy!
